CAPT: A Context-Aware stateful Processing ecosystem for Telco infra management

Telecommunication networks are evolving to embrace the cloud-native microservice paradigm, necessitating redesign of existing 5G network products such as Network Management System (NMS), Core, and Access. While cloud environments enable enterprises scale applications cost-effectively on demand, effectively utilizing containers without compromising their benefits presents challenges. The NMS plays a crucial role in managing telco elements (TEs) deployed across country processing large volume stateful data per second. International Organization for Standardization (ISO) telecommunications management defines tasks fault, configuration, accounting, performance, security (FCAPS). However, containerized exhibits ephemeral state, making its complex. This paper addresses challenges associated with storage selection, content placement, retrieval operations. To overcome these challenges, we propose CAPT, Context-Aware Processing ecosystem Telco infrastructure management. Our approach ensures scalability by associating context information directly FCAPS TE type, rather than fixed entities, thereby maintaining location-independent philosophy architectures. Through experiments using real field datasets provided operator, demonstrate that when integrated NMS, enables high performance even dynamic changes count.
